Artist-rendered 16"x20" archival print on paper - from a series of original collages  by Janet Strayer.  A maximum of 10 prints are made and authenticated by the artist. The fantasy-wish for eternal youth and magazine ads, which rely on it, inspired this work. The painting ironically transforms the idea of eternal youth into a manifestation of a child-faced madonna with supplicant children beneath her mantle -- composed in the style of Renaissance Madonna paintings.
