Exhilaration and Contemplation
Spending this year living in Europe, travelling, being a promiscuous art-lover in every town I get to, and setting up studios in different locations, continues to be both exhilarating and contemplative. I've wanted to share some of the sights and experiences, which I write about in a column for Art Avenue magazine -- that's expanded with additional material on my blog. For example, after seeing so many treasures of art history and contemporary art as I travel, I was hit hard with what might apply at times to many artists. It's a malady l call 'artistic paralysis' . If interested, you can read more about it at my post, Artistic Idolatry and Paralysis.
